Uff! It has taken the IRS 17weeks to tell us that they need more documentation to process our new homebuyer rebate. We were supposed to get the money in 14weeks... Technically, we were first told "8-12 weeks." Then it became "14-16 weeks." Now, at 17 weeks, they realize they don't have everything they need!
Why couldn't they have said in the beginning, "Hey we need this, this, and this form- send it in with your amended tax return." I mean, that was 4 MONTHS AGO! Why did it take the government 4months to realize that they needed an extra form? Seriously?!
Thank God I wasn't waiting for a kidney or surgery or something critical to my life! I'd be dead and they'd come back and ask for some more documentation! Bah!
